Installation instructions

For Windows For Mac OS
  1. Download the zip file and copy it to any folder on your computer.
  2. Extract the zip file.
  3. Navigate to the Setup.exe file.
    For example if you have copied and extracted the zip file to Adobe folder on your desktop, the folder hierarchy will be: C:\Users\<user name>\Desktop\Acrobat_2017_Web_WWMUI\Adobe Acrobat\Setup.exe
  4. To start the installation, double-click the Setup.exe file.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Note: Do not run the Setup.exe file from within the installer zip file as you might encounter errors during installation.
  1. Double-click the downloaded DMG file to mount Acrobat installer volume.
  2. Open the mounted Acrobat installer volume.
  3. Navigate to Acrobat DC installer.pkg in the volume and run it.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

How to install and activate Acrobat DC on a new computer

Click one of the options below depending on whether the previous computer on which you were using your subscription is available. Then follow the instructions.

  • From your new computer, sign in to your Adobe account. 

You can now use Acrobat DC on the new computer or device.

Sign out from the old computer and sign in on new computer

Error 1923 Adobe Acrobat Update Service (AdobeARMService) could not be installed.
Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services.
